    Happy 75th anniversary of the debut of Texaco Star Theater. It premiered on June 8, 1948, on WNBQ-TV (WMAQ) Channel 5 in Chicago.
    I did my walking this afternoon. It's a beautiful day! I drank my water, but I had a sudden thirst for a tall glass of lemonade. Hah!
    Here is a photo of The number 1 Drexel-Hyde Park CTA Bus with a WLAK 94 FM ad on the side of the bus. The photo was taken on July 15, 1975.
    Today is National VCR Day! Do you still have a VCR? I still have mine. Here is a photo of the Panasonic VCR that I bought in 1984 at The Video King Store which was located on W 95th St in Oak Lawn, IL.
    Here is a photo of The Szechwan House Chinese Restaurant & Lounge. It was located at 612 N Michigan Ave in Chicago. The photo was taken by William Brubaker in 1993.
