Gary Deeb (the Deebster), the best TV reviewer that Chicago ever had!! I was so sad when he left.
I also worked at a Chicken Unlimited in 1973 and 1974 when it closed. It was located next to a McDonalds. The owner had a second store in Calumet City and could not understand why his NW Indiana store didn’t do as well.
I went to Northwestern in Streeterville in 1979 and remember the Walgreens on Michigan and Superior (I think). It had a separate restaurant that made the absolutely the BEST chocolate milkshakes in the universe!
